In this second edition, I have continued with stories about real teachers and real students who are experiencing the complex theories of critical pedagogy in today's classrooms.

So, what is new to this second edition? I suspect that others would say that the feminist voice is stronger; prairie pedagogy has been filtered throughout; the preface, introduction, and methods chapter are new. In addition, new chapter notes have been used to update the citations.
