RE: BOUNCE-BACKS - Check your "Junk" settings.
It is normal for school districts to have internet filters which block unknown messages. In addition, teachers often give us only their .edu email. Because of this, we receive bounce-backs from many teachers, who then wonder why they are not receiving this newsletter. I try to find/contact each person who has a bounce-back, but I have limited success. Please contact news@joanwink.com if you would like to supply a 2nd email address.

This article described and showed a number of statistics that claim men are achieving greater in the science and math area. It also stated that few women graduate in the areas of science and engineering. The article tells that if a teacher creates a positive environment and demonstrates to all (boys and girls) fairness in education that we (teachers) will have more females graduating in the area of science and math. The classroom environment counts. Research has found that teachers teach boys and girls differently in the classroom.
