ATTENTION: WinkWorld Readers RE: BOUNCE-BACKS - Check your "Junk" settings. It is normal for school districts to have internet filters which block unknown messages. In addition, teachers often give us only their .edu email. Because of this, we receive bounce-backs from many teachers, who then wonder why they are not receiving this newsletter. I try to find/contact each person who has a bounce-back, but I have limited success. Please contact news@joanwink.com if you would like to supply a 2nd email address. |
WinkWorld October 2005
Two stories of Austin's emerging literacy; he just turned 3 years old. First, with his colored markers for the bathtub, he has written CAT and DAD on the wall of the bathtub. However, he rubbed them away before Bo and Lisa could get a picture. However, Lisa did scan a word, which he wrote. They were coloring pictures, and Lisa wrote the word, BOO, on his paper next to his ghost. She turned around to do something else, and soon he brought her his paper with his word, BOO. Enjoy. http://www.joanwink.com/gifs/boo.jpg Second, you can enjoy the letter he wrote to me from the computer. At the bottom of the letter, Austin asked Lisa how to spell each word, and he typed them himself. The date indicates that he wrote this before his 3rd birthday.
