Welcome To The World
Macy Morgan

Prairie Pedagogy
As I am at CSU Stanislaus teaching now, I do not have my beautiful horses (www.joanwink.com/newsletter/2007/news1207-prairie.html) to watch every day, but I do have beautiful chickens (www.joanwink.com/gifs3/hen-0108.jpg) and roosters (www.joanwink.com/gifs3/rooster-0108.jpg). outside of my bedroom window. As our house in Turlock is rented, I am staying with a dear friend and colleague, Julie, who lives in Denair, CA, only 4 miles from campus.

In addition, I am enjoying all of the birds of CA again.

Hopefully, I'll soon do one issue of WinkWorld to share Wink Cattle Company, complete with cattle, horses, water company, the Prairie Parlor (available for rent to writers and other nice low-maintenance people who need to get away), and the new and exciting (for some) Wink Truck Wash-out. If you have never seen one of these in action, it is pretty amazing. Stay tuned.
